Bio
Growing up I enjoyed anything and everything involving sports and competition. I played on teams for softball, soccer, basketball, tennis, and swimming but found my calling in softball and continued to the collegiate level.
My first exposure to CF came in high school. I wanted to start taking my strength and conditioning more seriously to improve as a softball player, but I slowly started to see the benefits outside of softball and was hooked from there.
With sports being such a large part of my life, I have known so many great coaches that have helped me become the person I am today. I’ve always enjoyed sharing my passion for sports and fitness and want to continue that as a CF coach. I hope that by coaching CF, I will be able to make a positive impact on others, improve my own skills and overall give back to the CF community.
My favorite movements to do in CF are thrusters and cleans. I like being able to cycle the barbell quickly yet still feeling powerful moving heavier weights.
Similarly I enjoy coaching others in barbell movements like the thruster and cleans. I also enjoy talking strategy for workouts and helping each athlete give their max effort for each WOD.
