Bio

I grew up playing soccer which is my first love but played just about every sport. In my later years, I picked up Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai which continue to be a big part of my life.

One night I randomly clicked on a documentary on Netflix that followed the athletes during the CrossFit games. I was in awe of the movements, the focus of the athletes, and the challenges they faced with each WOD. It was cool to see these top athletes be shocked with a “surprise” workout and then go out and attack them with everything they had.  I sat back and wondered if I could do that, I googled CrossFit near me. The search came back with CrossFit Hyattsville.

There is no greater feeling than to see someone achieve something they have put the time in to conquer. Becoming a CrossFit Coach is not only an opportunity to share what you love with others but getting a front-row seat to see others become their best selves.

I really love doing Toes to Bar and just about anything on the rig. Whether it’s pull-ups, chest-to-bar, or muscle-ups, these movements, in my opinion, are the culmination of your strength training but most importantly your technique. Thrusters too, they are a big challenge but there is no better way to find out what you are made of.

I love seeing people hit their first kipping pull up, any movement on the rig, and or a super-strong deadlift. When CrossFit comes to mind it’s these movements on the rig and picking up heavy things, that I first think of. Helping others continue to improve on these is the dream.
