Bio
I competed in cross-country skiing, running, and track (800M, 4x800M, 1600M, and 3200M). I enjoy most outdoor activities, especially hiking and paddling kayak/canoe.
In 2013, my sister-in-law and her husband owned a CF box in California and after some encouragement, I gave it a try! I was very skeptical of CrossFit before I started –even made fun of it, not knowing what it really was. I decided to give it a fair six week trial, which became eight months of 5-6 days a week because I fell in love with it!
I became a CrossFit coach in hopes I could be a more substantial influence for good to the people around me. I’ve been blessed to have great coaches, and I wanted to learn how to teach and inspire others the way my coaches taught and inspired me.
My favorite movements are burpees, ring muscle-ups, thrusters, and running.
I enjoy coaching others on muscle-ups, pistols, handstand walks, box jumps, and rope climbs; it’s really fun to see people succeed at these movements!
